Gearboxes
The gearbox is the main mechanical component of the kinematic chain of agricultural devices. It is usually pushed by the tractor power get-off by means of the PTO shaft and the gearbox drives. The running torque can also be transmitted to the gearbox by hydraulic motors or belt pulleys, in addition to chain gears.
Gearboxes usually have a single enter shaft and at the very least a single output shaft. If these shafts are positioned at 90° to each other, the gearbox is an ORTHOGONAL ANGLE gearbox or much more generally named a proper-angle gearbox.
