Helical Gear Speed Reducers

Worm Gear Speed Reducers

With a single start worm, the worm gear advances only 1 tooth for every 360-degree turn of the worm. So, regardless of the worm’s size, the apparatus ratio is the ‘size of the worm gear to 1′. Higher reduction ratios could be created by using double and triple decrease ratios.
