stainless steel worm reducers

The brand new EVP37 and EVP37 stainless steel gearboxes from EP can be found with ratios up to 134.82 and 106.38:1 respectively. Both possess an input power rating of up to 3 HP and an output torque ranking of 1 1,770 lb-in.

The EVP37 and EVP37 can be found with NEMA C-face motor adapters, IEC adapters or as gearmotors. Other options include seals to supply IP69K safety and food grade essential oil. All shafts and equipment are high quality stainless steel as standard.

The shaft-mounted gear systems can be found with EPLOC, EP’S small keyless hollow shaft installation program. EPLOC combines interchangeable bronze bushings and a stainless clamping ring for mounting onto different sized solid shafts. This eliminates the need for high tolerance machining of the shaft and guarantees the reducer could be easily removed also after years of program in the harshest environments.

Traditional single-worm reducers commonly found on processing equipment are inefficient and wear over time. Helical bevel gears have an infinite life, and so are 50% better than solitary worm gears. The new stainless steel quickness reducers are new externally, but inside you will discover the same high-quality gearing the industry provides relied on for many years.

Lyman, SC – EP announces the immediate launch of the brand new EVP37 stainless helical equipment reducer and EVP37 stainless helical bevel gear reducer. Efficient, long-life helical and helical bevel gearing means these products use less energy, operate cooler and go longer than common single-worm gear systems. The material, design and smooth finish indicate high resistance to bacteria, chemical substances and procedures common to the food processing industry.
