one.A connecting hyperlink of an O-ring Chain for basic application is pre-coated with grease at the pins. Ahead of connection, verify the grease over the surfaces of pins, and should the level of grease is smaller, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are utilized, the grease will probably be absorbed through the gloves.)
Example: When the connecting website link (I) of an O-ring chain for general application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted with the roots from the pins. In case the O-rings come loose due to vibration for the duration of transport, refit the O-rings in on the roots with the pins.
In this case, you’ll want to return the grease collected at the roots with the pins to the central surfaces of the pins, more at portion A than at portions B shown while in the over illustration. (Portions A is worn because of sliding with the bushings.)
2.The chain is often most simply connected around the teeth of the sprocket. Engage the back links at each ends in the chain using the sprocket teeth and match connecting pins. If your sprocket is often moved, the chain may also be linked about the loosened side.
three. Connecting method
1.Verify that O-rings are connected to your roots with the pins.
two.If your amount of grease utilized around the connecting pins is little, coat the pins with grease with the central portions.
three.Insert the connecting pins into the bushings of your inner backlinks at both ends.
4.Verify the grease is utilized on the entire face on the O-ring, and fit the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
5.Insert the connecting pins into the connecting plate and even though pressing the connecting plate, set up the spring clip. Confirm irrespective of whether the head (the finish with no split) of the spring clip is turned in the feeding path of the chain. (See the following illustration.)
6.Make sure 
you verify the spring clip is securely fitted during the clip grooves in the connecting pins.
This completes jointing in the connecting hyperlink. Note that grease on the surfaces of connecting pins and O-rings is often removed for the duration of installation function. In this instance, re-grease working with the grease about the surface from the base chain or the grease in the polyethylene bag in which the connecting link was contained.
